Well Happy Belated New Year!
I know it's been a while, so much as happened. I started a new job in the beginning of the year, I lost my baby girl Kaya in the beginning of March due to cancer, and I'm expecting my first child in June. Hasn't been a whole lot of time for blogging, or even nails at that point. What a roller coaster ride for 2018!
Anyway, I offered an opportunity to swatch and review a top coat by Sassy Cats Lacquer. This brand has been around for a little while, but they would like to be re-promoted and branch back out into the indie world. I received a mini base or top coat of my choice. I was on the hunt for a new top coat, since my favorite, I wasn't sure was going to make a comeback or not. That's another day. I chose to try out The Purrfect Shine mini top coat.
First off, the name is cute. Purrrfect shine :)
I had only heard of the brand, I've never heard reviews about the actual products themselves. Which to write a review and try out the top coat was a good thing, I didn't have any bias or anything like that. All completely my own opinion.
I wasn't sure how I would like the top coat, I just love my Sweet and Sour Lacquer-Gloss Sauce so much, I didn't think I could find a decent replacement.
Purrfect shine took me by surprise. It was such an easy formula to work with. It wasn't too thick where it felt like syrup on my nails. It went on super easy and smooth and did give a nice shine! I wasn't expecting it to be a fast drying top coat either. I didn't have any indication that it is. It dried really fast and smooth also!
My only complaint is that over a few hand washings (and being pregnant going to the bathroom a lot, I wash my hands a lot!) the shine dulled down on me a little bit. Other than that, I've worn this mani for 3 days and I barely have ANY sign of tip wear! I even forgot to wrap the tips!

Welp, I'm awkward what can I say, I struggle with hand poses haha. Anyway, I will link Sassy Cats Lacquer below where you can purchase Purrfect Shine and others.
